Dear All,
I am writing this to inform you that members can cast their vote from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Election day, Sunday, May 26th 2013.
- Voting will take place at the Election Office: 106 St. Charles Street, West Hartford, CT 06119.
- YOU MUST BRING A PICTURE ID(State, Driver’s License, Green Card, US Passport, School ID etc.) FOR VERIFICATION PURPOSE.
- Voting will close at 5:01 p.m.
- Votes will be counted and the result will be announced soon after that.
- A formal process to handover the certificates to the elected members will then follow.
We are sure that having this long span of time will allow all the members to find some time and come to vote. Please make every effort to come and vote.
We did explore to find a more spacious location with ample parking lots, but were unable to find one because of so many variables. One being, we wanted to have long voting hours so that every member can get a chance to vote. Hopefully, in future elections we can look into it well ahead of time and may have some luck. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience.
We wanted to make a KIND REQUEST that members living close by, please consider walking to the Election Office. Please do not come in a big group if at all possible. Also, please park little farther (where you can park) and consider taking a walk. If you see too many cars outside the election office, please consider coming at a later time if possible. Please leave immediately after you cast your vote unless it’s necessary to stay their for some reason. PLEASE CONSIDER SAFETY OF YOURS AND OTHERS AT ALL TIMES.
We are all in this together, so please let us make this election as smooth as possible.
We all know without your help and support we cannot make this election a success.
